about

Members of Momentum Repertory Company live in the areas hardest-hit by Superstorm Sandy. Most of us lost power, and a few were temporarily displaced. But we know those were just minor inconveniences compared to so many of our neighbors. We all got through the storm with our homes and our health. For that, we are grateful. We have spent time in the days since Sandy helping as individuals however we can. Some are providing foster homes to temporarily homeless animals. Others are volunteering at soup kitchens. Our members have borrowed cars to drive supplies around the city and helped with the clean-up and even organized a group that will knit hats and scarves to keep the victims warm in the coming months. We want to join forces with Occupy Sandy- a group who has done so much- because there’s still so much to be rebuilt. They need resources, and we want to help provide them. So it’s time for us to do what we do best: sing. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this recording will go to Occupy Sandy.
